On Tuesday, 28th of February, 2017, our Green-School’s Ambassadors’ Caoimhe Walsh-Kelly and Jadzia Murphy attended a Support-Session and Workshop at host school Castlerea Community School, in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. The Support-Session and Workshop provided the girls the opportunity to assess their overall progress in the programme to date. This forum also provided the students a platform to share ideas and learn from last year’s Student Ambassadors.

The girls and coordinator would like to thank Caoimhe O’Brien Moran from An Taisce’s Green-School’s for inviting us to this event, guest speakers from Irish Water and finally to Castlerea Community School for being such wonderful hosts on the day.

A very informative and enjoyable day was had by all! Finally,  the very best of luck to Caoimhe and Jadzia as they prepare to fill in their Final Progress Reports and aim to become overall Regional Green-School’s Ambassadors 2017!!!
