Currylea School of Music was set up in 2013 to provide the young people of Tuam and surrounding areas the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.

Situated in Presentation College, Tuam, the Currylea School of Music offers half-hour lessons to suit all levels.
Tutors are experienced musicians and offer lessons in a wide variety of instruments including piano, classical violin, harp, classical flute, clarinet, saxophone, traditional flute, traditional fiddle, bodhrán and guitar as well as vocal training.

Fees for all lessons are payable direct to the tutor on a term basis. Students/Parents should contact teachers directly on the numbers below to arrange lesson times etc. all other queries can be directed to Una O Brien (coordinator) at
Senior students from all local primary schools with at least 3 years experience are invited to play with the school orchestra free of charge. Students are then given the opportunity to perform at various school events throughout the year.
