Congratulations to Claire McGill, First Year and Sarah Garrett Fifth Year, two young writers whose work has been published in ‘Future Tense one‘an Anthology of Young Galway Writers, by the Galway Education Center.
Both students were invited to attend the official book launch which was held in the Radisson Hotel, Galway.  The book was launched by Ciaran Cannon TD, Minister for Training & Skills at the Department of Education & Skills, .
Claire McGill was awarded for her short story, entitled “The Great Escape”, while Sarah Garrett’s poem “Deadly Cracks Glow in Icy Defences” was widely acclaimed by the audience.
