Principal, Mrs Neasa Cosgrove congratulated all students on the culmination of their hard work. Ciara Finan from Corofin can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best students in the country as she attained maximum points.

Remarkably over 10% of all students who sat the exams achieved over 500 points . Standout results were achieved in Music which surpassed all national trends. So too did the number of students in the school who took the honours Maths paper with many of those students scoring top marks.

The number of students attaining top marks in History were treble the national averages and marks for students who took Chemistry, Irish, English and Home Economics also exceeded the national figures. The L.C.V.P. program in the school goes from strength to strength with almost half of those students reaching the level of distinction.

Mrs. Cosgrove paid tributes to the students and wished them well as they move onto the next phase of their lives. She also thanked the hardworking staff in Presentation College Tuam for their role in the schools continued academic excellence.
