Some students ‘Walked For Water’ in the Annual Pres 5k Fun Run

Green-School’s Ambassador Caoimhe Walsh-Kelly and Green-School’s Committee member Clara Muller took on the daunting challenge of carrying water on their backs on what was a very warm day in the annual Pres 5K Fun Run.

The girls wanted to highlight the plight of many people in less developed and poorer countries like on the African continent, who for them this is a daily reality in order just to survive.

Thank you to all our students and staff who embraced this year’s ‘water’ theme by wearing something ‘blue’, including one student who painted her face and wore a blue wig – fantastic commitment indeed!!!

Finally, the Green-School’s Committee would like to thank the PE Department as well as the Sports Council for accommodating both Caoimhe and Clara’s ‘Walk For Water’ challenge.
